Adventure Volunteer, is a non-profit association of public interest, incorporated in Spain and registered in the National Registry of Associations.

This data privacy policy, stable and provides necessary information on the management, use and treatment of personal data of users who use our website, in addition to users who request information through our mail, social networks and platforms. All users must read and accept the privacy policies before following it.

Purpose of data processing

The data requested at all times is necessary, adequate and relevant for the purpose of providing and maintaining the contractually agreed services as well as being able to inform you about new cooperation programs, countries (destinations) and about the volunteering. As a user, you certify that all the information you provide or send to us through the forms, website, social networks, contact, queries or similar are correct and true for the activity that has been requested.

All the information you provide us through forms, web page, social networks, contact, queries or similar will be used to fulfill the following purposes:  

  • Those indicated on each of our web page, where you have available any of our forms of contact, opinions, experiences, queries or similar.
  • When answering any questions, questions or doubts about projects or destinations through our means of contact on our website, such as social networks.
  • User subscription for sending advertising, news, blog or announcements.

You also certify that you have informed them about our privacy policy. Adventure Volunteer does not assume any responsibility for the personal data that you provide us with these people, it being your responsibility to have their authorization and to provide them with the necessary information regarding the processing of their data.

It is mandatory that you accept our Privacy Policies and Legal notice in our forms and other means where they appear. All users expressly and freely accept that their data is necessary to attend to and provide the information they require or have requested. You also declare that you have been informed of the conditions on the protection of personal data, accepting the consent and treatment of your data by Adventure Volunteer, according to the purposes indicated in this Privacy Policy.

Security measures

The personal data that you provide us for the provision of a service will be the minimum required to be able to draw up the contract as well as to be able to offer you the services that you contract and for compliance with legal obligations. The data will be kept during the legally established periods.

Adventure Volunteer has also adopted the necessary measures to guarantee the security in the use of the data that you provide us, thus avoiding its loss and unauthorized access. Being in this way the user acknowledges and accepts that the general internet security measures are not 100% safe.

Modifications

Adventure Volunteer may alter or modify this Privacy Policy to make updates or modifications that occur or for changes that are generated in the legislation that is approving and affecting the policies mentioned in this document. Return policy

The Adventure volunteer application fee (signal) is not refundable, since some expenses have been incurred for management and activities in order to continue with the functions described in the statutes of the association, but the volunteer will have Right to a refund of any other amounts paid if they have not been donated to the country of destination for the preparation of their reception, which would be up to 30 days after their incorporation. In case of cancellation after the deadline previously described, the volunteer will not have the right to a refund of the money paid. See the Terms and Conditions.

Variation of the data

As long as you do not tell us otherwise, we will understand that the data has not been modified and that you agree to notify us of any variation.
