VOLUNTEERING WITH CHILDREN

You like teaching, you want to share your knowledge and skills, this is a great opportunity. In the volunteer teaching programme in the Dominican Republic, you will be able to support and teach children and young people attending school and out-of-school children.

Education in any part of the world is fundamental for our children and even more so in the growing stage. The volunteer teaching program in the Dominican Republic is focused so that the children with the help of volunteers and local staff of the organization provide the necessary tools for their educational development. We must keep in mind that teaching abroad is a way to improve our skills as well. It is a very practical volunteering experience to see the world. Immersing yourself in a country different from your own and experiencing new things from a different perspective allows you to be more open and understanding towards others. Not only do we give and support, but it is an opportunity to learn and be enriched on a personal and professional level.

Volunteers regularly work with children between the ages of 5 and 12. Every volunteer who participates in the volunteer teaching programme in the Dominican Republic carries out programme activities and also implements activities that the volunteers themselves create, according to the needs of the children who attend the centre.

Through the volunteer teaching programme in the Dominican Republic, we seek to get involved with youth, families and vulnerable communities.
