Several weeks ago a situation took us by surprise, Covid-19, which forced us to make a “stop” in most of our activities in the association. But once again we are showing that with our actions we can achieve many things, since we continue to do our best to support our community. In this case we are giving virtual classes to children with specific educational difficulties in Panama.
Listen to the testimony of Laura, a volunteer in the virtual classes with children.
What has covid-19 taught us?
This pandemic has put us all to the test, but it has also taught us to value more the things we have, such as family, friends and people in our community. He has also shown us the importance of a greeting, a kiss and all those demonstrations of affection that we do not pay attention to because of the rhythm of life we lead.
Do you want to know a little about volunteering?
Listen to the podcast “The volunteer’s trip” where you will find all the information to carry out international volunteering, university internships, responsible tourism, short-term volunteering, ethical, and solidarity.
From @AdventureVolunteer, we want to transmit a message of encouragement and support to all our volunteer nurses, doctors, cleaning workers, who know that they are giving everything to overcome this situation we are experiencing.
There is no doubt that we will return soon and with much more energy, to continue working for our most vulnerable children, youth and women.
But now is the time to stay home.
Everything we do would not be possible without the support of our volunteers who are always ready to give their best.
